Comments about Pill Pockets Feline Salmon Flavor Cat Treats:

I have to give one of my cats 3 pills twice a day for seizures & these make it easy. I use just enough of the pocket to cover each pill & "Bunny" is pulling my hand toward her to get at the pill. She loves them. If a cat is hesitant to take it with a pill in it, I give them a piece without the pill so they can taste it. Once they're hooked, they eat the pill right up!

Comments about Pill Pockets Feline Salmon Flavor Cat Treats:

When I first adopted my 4 year old cat, she became sick as soon as she got home. My veterinarian gave me a pack of these with my Clavamox prescription.

They don't look like much, but my cat loved them. The treats are shaped like little cans, and you just put the pill in and smoosh the top closed around it. It worked well at hiding the medication and I'm assuming the taste was disguised by the salmon flavor.

I was surprised how well these worked, because most cats are reluctant to eat when they get sick. She ate every Greenie right up until the climax of her illness. Even then, it was only 2 or 3 days of having to force-feed them, which is never fun!

Only con I can think of is the size. I had very small disc shaped pills, and I don't think the pill pocket could accommodate large medications.
